The Spectre FMC Analysis uses advanced statistical and machine learning (ML) techniques to achieve the right statistical accuracy with the minimum number of Monte Carlo simulations. It works with the Spectre X and Spectre APS Simulators and allows you to distribute Monte Carlo simulation workloads to increase throughput.
It enables fast and comprehensive design space exploration using Monte Carlo simulations of complex analog, RF, I/O, mixed-signal blocks, memories, standard cells, and bit cells while maintaining necessary statistical accuracy. The Virtuoso ADE Product Suite can also be leveraged for distributed processing of Monte Carlo simulations across a compute farm or cloud.
You can run the tool from the command line or from Virtuoso ADE Suite to verify complex I/Os, AMS and RF blocks, and memories. Spectre FMC Analysis’ ML-based technology enables fast exploration and learning of a very large sample space. This allows the designers to quickly identify the worst-case samples to avoid design failures.
As they say, watching this in action might help you more than reading about it, so please take a look at our Training Bytes video channel, which offers many helpful videos on how to launch and use the Spectre FMC.
All the related videos are linked together in a channel so that you can easily access and watch as many as you like.
